Preparing for Parent/Teacher Night

Congratulations for realizing the importance of being a part of your child’s school life, despite your negative experiences. You know your child better than anyone else, so come prepared to provide the teacher with some background information that will allow the teacher to gain a better understanding of your child (for example: special talents, interests, or accomplishments, strengths, challenges, successes, sports, volunteer work, clubs). Basically, if you come prepared with good questions and a positive attitude, the interview should go well for both of you.
